The buildings are run-down and mostly unusable to humans, but it makes a great spot for wolves to hide or stop to rest on their journeys.

Takia stopped at a small, worn house to wash the blood off her muzzle. She had gotten away from the mob and was a bit winded, but unharmed. Her stomach growled and she remembered that she still hadn't eaten in quite a while, but it was too risky to try again with those horrible things still after her. She sighed and plopped down on the bare floor, trying to ignore her hunger pangs.

A loud crash was heard as a man ran face first into a wall. He wasn't crazy or anything, just mad and confused. He had been chasing a little thief who had stolen food from his store. Right when he had gotten her cornered up against a wall, he had lunged at her to grab her, but before he could get hold of her, the thief was gone, causing him to slam into the concrete wall.
"Humans are so slow..." Sage mumbled to herself as she carried her prize. This little thief had stolen a rather large bag of ground beef right from under the butchers nose. And when he tried to catch her, he was easy enough to outsmart. Anyone looking at her at the moment would see a young girl with a heavy bag in her arms, but any wolf that saw her would see a young timber wolf pup with lunch.
As she turned another corner, she couldn't help but stop in her tracks, and sniff the air. The scent of another wolf, and blood, lingered around. "This should be fun!" she sang as she walked into the beat down house, and saw a maned wolf resting on the cold floor.
"You look hungry!" she said, stating the obvious as she set down her bag. The pup walked up to the much older wolf, and sniffed her muzzle, picking up the source of the blood. Anyone would be shocked to see a pup just walk right up to an older wolf and sniff them, but Sage had grown up without any parents, so she did whatever the heck she felt like.

Takia looked at the pup with surprise. Here she was, in need of help and food in this strange place, and both come walking through the door! She stood up, towering above the young pup and wagging her tail happily. She didn't mind how rude the pup was. Anything was worth getting some help for. "Well, hello there! What's your name? What are the horrible things that live here? What is this place? Is that food?"

"Uh... Sage, humans, it's called a town, and yes it's ground beef." she explained simply, sitting down next to the bag of meat. "Humans are easy to steal from. It's getting away if they see you that's the hard part." she added, recalling having to ditch the shop keeper. Taking note of her last question, she opened up the bag, picked up a large chunk of ground beef rapped in paper, and placed it in front of her. "I got a lot for once, so I can share it!" she said happily, wagging her tail as she got out another package for herself.

Takia sniffed at the paper in confusion, then decided to rip it off, seeing that it wasn't edible. She devoured the meat hungrily, taking all of two seconds, and sat down again, satiated. "Thank you! You wouldn't believe how hard it is to hunt these 'humans'. They work in packs! and have strange weapons!" She licked her muzzle nervously. "and i think they're still looking for me...are they dangerous?"

"Well if being brain dead is dangerous then yes. They'll forget about you soon enough. They always do. And I say the reason they travel in packs is because their scardey cats!" Sage said simply, before taking a bite out of her own meal. Unlike the much older wolf before her, she wasn't such a fast eater. Having a much smaller mouth, smaller teeth, and a small stomach probably had something to do with it. She usually ate her meal in small bites, and probably would only finish half of it until she got full.

"ha. This comeing from a wolf" came a mature, and powerful voice from above. The massive beast was a giant grey wolf. He was probably twice the size of the average wolf, and his bulgeing muscles were an intimidateing sight. He leapt from the roof and landed with a soft thud in the alleyway below. He walked towards the two....then continued to walk right on past. He had only stopped to rest. He was on a journey....

Takia shot up and bounded over to the new wolf. More friends! She was extremely fast and agile, and caught up with the new arrival easily. "Hi! What's your name? Where ya goin? How are y-" It was then that she tripped over a rock and smashed right into him.

This new wolf was so big and bulky, that he didn't budge an inch when this strange wolf hit him. He turned around his big head to look at the she wolf. What was wrong with wolves these days?

"Sorry! I tripped!" Takia stumbled up, rather ungracefully, her long legs tangled in her tail almost comically. She managed to untangle herself and force a toothy grin. She stopped as she noticed that the new wolf wasn't talking at all. "Hey..what's wrong?" She stared at him with her crystalline blue eyes. "Aren't you going to say anything?"

"Not if there's no need" He said in his gruff anf flat voice. He walked onwards. Something about this wolf pointed out he was a loner....and yet something else just surrounded him in mystery. How often do you see a wolf THAT size?

Sage couldn't help but abandon her meal and scamper after the newest wolf. Since she was a wanderer, she didn't get to see other wolves that much, and never before had she seen one so big! When she finally caught up to him and Takia, and jumped in front of him, wagging her tail. "Then think of something to say! You seem pretty interesting! Why are you so big? Why are you alone? Are most wolves your size? What's your name? How long are you gonna be in the town? Why aren't you answering? Huh? Huh?" the pup yipped, probably getting on his nerves, but she didn't notice. When new wolves came along the young wolf couldn't help but ask questions. Most of the wolves she ran into were mean and chased her off. All she wanted was someone to play with!

ooc: XD well...think of Kosei as Tsume. He may seem a bit cold first glance, but he's a good wolf inside ^-^ bic: Kosei couldn't believe it. Normally other wolves avoided him. He appearence even chased off small packs of wolves....and yet here was so hyper active puppy. "My buisness is my own." He said, answering all of her questions at once. He pressed on, walking around the pup.

Takia got the hint, but chose to ignore it. She jumped in front of him before he could move much, a smile planted on her face. She was tempted to go on with her usual taunting routine, but her curiosity over the large wolf held her tauntings back. "Aw, c'mon, why so secretive? Sit down, rest, it won't kill you! What kind of wolf are you anyways? I've never seen one so big before! Are you foreign? Where do you come from? Why are you traveling? Are you looking for paradise too? We can look together! Wouldn't that be great?!" She readied herself for him to move around her. She just needed to know. Had he heard the call of paradise? Like the other wolves she'd seen on her journey? Like her?
