Saya walked through the dirty city once again, she was sad at first leaving Daryl after all that he did for her. But she had to keep going, she walked through the city the sun was rising fast and she would have to find a place to hide. She decided to take Daryl's advice and go into a abandoned building. She started looking around to find one. One that would be on the city's outskirts. Until she finally found one. The door was borded up and the windows were shattered but their was a hole big enough to squeeze through on one side. She looked in the hole and she smelled prey. It was a rabbit, she quickly dove into the hole and as she ran she hit a metal surface. It was a a wire cage, she tried to back up but the door was sealed behind her. It was a trap and she was caught, maybe it was just a cage to catch stray dogs and they would soon let her go. She waited in the cage for hours sitting, not daring to make a sound. Until she smelled a human approach. He grabbed a flashlight and peered into the whole, his head and torso were in view. He smiled when he saw me, "Hello, there little wolf." He said in a hard tone. I panicked because he knew I was a wolf. I snarled at him with my ears back and my teeth exposed. He unboarded the door to the house and went inside grabbing the cage and banging it against the door on his way out. I still kept growling and snarling biting the wire of the cage. "Its no use wolf, you arent going anywhere." He through me in the back of his truck and started to drive. Me in the back, not knowing what would become of my future.

Another figure also wandered along the empty road. The moonlight glinted on his silky fur, and he stared up at it as he strode along the pavement, not caring that he was in his wolf form in full view. The headlights passed over him, and the truck sped past, turning right at the junction. A faint smell came to him, and a single word to his mind. Saya. He turned, sprinting into an alleyway. Dodging between trash cans and the junk some people left behind there, he could just see the area where the lights shone, on the road ahead. Pushing forward even faster now, he shot out of the alleyway, and into broad view. The truck was just to his left. He leapt, landing on the bonnet. The brakes screeched as the man stopped in shock, and he smirked greedily, climbing out of his truck to try and grab the other wolf. A big mistake. A boy jumped off the front of the truck, a pistol tightly gripped in his hand, aimed straight at the man.

Saya banged against the cage with her body trying to break it apart, but it was made out of a tuff metal. All of assuden the car came to a stop and the cage banged against the truck and Saya gave a yelp. She could smell someone, it was Daryl. "He shouldnt have came here, he could get him to." She thought until she peered around the cage to see Daryl in human form pointing a gun at the man. "Daryl!" She screemed happily. But he could still get hurt, and she worried as she bit the wire of the cage as hard as she could.

Daryl glanced to the side. That proved to be an almost fatal mistake. A hefty fist fell across his face and he dropped the gun. The next moment he was being pinned against the side of the truck by the man. The man backed off, and with a lurch Daryl saw him draw a pistol of his own. There was a resounding crack as it went off. The bullet slammed into the metal where the boys head was. Unfortunately for the man, the boy was no longer there. And wolves were considerably shorter than humans. Claws tore into flesh, teeth snapping at the man's neck as Daryl lunged on him, and the man yelled in fright. Just a few seconds later, he lay dead. The black wolf then made his way to the back of the truck, and with a single blow of his claws took out the feeble wire that formed an insubstantial lock on the cage. The door of the metal cage swung open with a creak.

Saya watched as Daryl finished off the man and came to the back of the truck where he broke the cage apart. She ran up to him and licked his cheek. "Thank you, I was sure I was going to be sold into one of those dog rings you were talking about or even worse." She sighed and looked at the dead man. "I am sorry for putting you in trouble once again." She put her head down and then looked up at his bloodstained coat. "Maybe I will take your advice and use my human form." She slowly started to change into a human and soon enough she finished. Now as a young human. Her hair cropped a little after her ears and her eyes still red. Her clothes were made from black leather and she was skinny and had averaged hieght. She looked at herself and sighed. "I don't really like it but this will have to do."

Daryl also began to cast his illusion. A tall boy began to take the place of the wolf, about the same age as Saya, and wearing a black trench coat. His eyes too were red, why he didn't quite know, as they were amber in real life. His hair fell to just below his chin, his fringe coming down to his eyebrows. His hair was a strange, lilac colour, again, he didn't know why. He smiled. "Well, where now?" Was all he said. He really hadn't got any ideas of what to do next, there was still no sign of the others.

Saya looked at Daryl's human form, she hadn't seen it up close before but it was interesting. It showed hardly any of his human characteristics at all. "Well I will be following you, since now I owe you my life," she laughed.

He also chuckled. "Well then, where to? Stay in the city...or roam elsewhere?" He couldn't quite believe that he was prepared to just leave the city, but he was. He didn't even know quite why, but he was. He bent down and picked up the pistol, slipping it back into the hidden pocket of his coat. He turned, looking out to the countryside beyond the city.

"Arent we suppose to be following Paradise? So I suppose wherever it takes us." She watched as he put the pistol in his pocket. "And right now I don't know where to go."

ooc: I'm assuming you have completed your other thread? If yes, I will lock it and move it. bic: A small, young child stumbled around the city. She had no idea where she was going...but it was quite obvious she was looking for someone. It was a young girl with orange-blond hair. Her cloudy blue eyes just added to her cherubic face. Of course...wolves saw her for what she really was... a wolf pup. It was none other then Amata, who had raced off to help Ai....but only got lost. She was in a part of the city she had never been in before....and the strange scents clouded her sense of smell....

Daryl lowered his head. Suddenly, a smell came to his nose, and he felt something tug at him. He raised his head back to Saya. "Yes, but I feel the call of something stronger right now." He was now sprinting down the street, following his senses. He had wondered where Amata had gone, it looked like he had found out.

Amata held her arms close to her as she weaved around the few passing people. She didn't even want them to touch her. Of course, there's always that one guy... "Why hey there lil' lady. Wanna come with me?" He asked as he reached out and grabbed her arm. "No, no! Let me go!" She barked, trying to pull away. She could easily take this man....but she would resist fighting the best she could.

Daryl could just see Amata. He would step in if necessary, but he was interested to see what she would do. He leant against the wall, hand in pocket, watching the scene play out. He wasn't sure if Saya had kept up with him or even followed him in the first place. If she hadn't, he would go back to see where she was after this, but for now his eyes were fixed on Amata and the man.

A long way off, in the more deserted regions of town, Takia was walking along a narrow alleyway alone. She had wandered in after a blizzard had forced her to find shelter, and was now very confused, having never seen humans, nor their dwellings before. "Yuck! This place stinks!" She sniffed around at some of the garbage on the floor. nothing looked edible. Her stomach twisted and groaned with hunger, and she stopped to sniff the air for food. The scent of a strange life was far off, but she had never smelled some thing so...strange before. Still, it was life. Meat. She smiled and bounded toward the smell. There were so many of them! She would never be hungry if she hunted here! She screeched to a halt as she saw another long alleyway, but this time, it had some strange animals in it. She sniffed, they were the owners of the smell. How strange they were! Covered in pelts of other animals ans walking on two, skinny legs. Still, they were better than nothing. She crouched low as one neared, redying to hunt.

Saya watched as Daryl took off and she ran after him soon finding him standing against a wall. She stopped because he looked like he was watching someone, so she pressed up close to a building and walked still close to the wall until she reached him. "What are you doing? And why are you hiding like that?" she asked quietly.
