(I know this wasn't my idea but I didn't see it being done so... here goes)
The humans may have drained all the water from the dry lakebed in the forest, but a little farther on you can find a marsh. Cat-tails and swamp grass grow around the edges, and you might just be unlucky enough to stumble upon some quicksand. Most wolves know just how careful you have to be around a place like this, but there are always a few who don't know what they're doing, and the mist floating around lately just makes it even harder to stay out of trouble.

Shikon was stuck in such a dreary marsh. He had been wandering this forest for a few days now. He came in with a friend, but he hadn't been able to find the other wolf sinse the first night......he forgot how lonely it was by yourself....

An Italian wolf wandered aimlessly through the marsh. Her name was Saro. And had came searching for the scent of the flower and ended up in the mud.
Oh well. She was sure she could find a way out sooner or later. Her mood was optimistic, but the great marsh was daunting, and she was unlikely to survive. Like she cared!
Saro ran through the mud full speed ,her multicolored fur whooshing is the wind. Her green eyes were filled with excitement as she ran.... Right into Shikon.

Shikon stumbled, but quickly caught himself. His long legs suddenly took a defensive stance, as he head fell low, and his fur rose up. He tared at this new creature, examining her. He may have been lonely, but he still wasn't in the mood for any sideshows distracting him from paradise.

Saro fell flat on her face. Whoops! She got up and shook the clumps of mud from her face and blinked her eyes a few times, taking in what she saw. Another wolf! This was great, maybe he could help her figure out where Paradise was! "Heh, sorry! That one was my bad!" She barked as she began her barrage of words. "I'm Saro! Nice 'ta meet you, Mr. Whachamacallit! I'm just wondering if you'd happen to know ther right direction to Paradise? I was following the smell, but I lost it in here with all of the stink. So, any idea? And what's your name?"

Shikon groaned. not another one. Instead of answering her, he turned around and started walking. Stupid adolescent mongrels.... His long legs sank in the mud, but he continued through it. The place smelt strange....he had once again lost the scent of his flower, and instead could only smell the wet and dank stench of the marsh.

ooc: Kit, just wondering, would it be okay if Satika was in the marsh too? Maybe not with Shikon, but nearby? Or should I just make a different thread?

Emily had a narrow escape from the city. But yet again in somewhere confusing and that you could get easily lost in. "Super" she whispered to herself. Hungry , tired and now hopeless Emily wondered if she would ever make it to paradise. She hadn't had a good sleep in a few weeks she curled up under a tree and fell asleep.

ooc: Ok, I will then! bic: Satika stumbled into the marsh, at the far end and away from the other wolves. Her paw got sucked in to some mud, and with an impatient tug, she pulled it out again. Before she'd thought this mist might let up, but now it looked just as thick as ever.

Emily awoke the night sky shone with thousands of stars. She wiped the sleep from her eyes and started walking "how long have I been asleep?" she asked herself and continued. In a few minutes the ground below her got soft and she sank in "what!" she said " no, no" and with that she tried jumping out in the end she walked through it. Her fur muddy, her smell numbed and still starving just when her hope was broken a branch cracked. Emily turned her head sharply a muskrat! she tried getting it but it escaped. Emily continued walking in search of paradise.

After a long yawn, Satika kept on walking, taking light steps to avoid sinking in again. She wanted to get out of this dangerous forest, but she had no idea where she was going because the fog clouded her vision. Walking for a few more minutes, she stopped to rest on a sort of island of dry grass in the middle of the mushy ground.

Shikon suddenly growled angrily. That was no tree Emily had hit. The maned wolf's fur bristled as his gleaming teeth shone. Emily's scent had been hidden by the wet fog, otherwise he would've semtl her approach.
