This section of the ocean has always been frozen over. You never really know if you stepping on ice, or snow. On to the left is a large mountain, and to the right is the sea, going on as far as the eye can see.

Tropical, barren, and mysterious Islands dot the Okami ocean, known for it's harsh waves and violent storms. Legends say Paradise is across this ocean....but crossing it would simply lead to the Frozen tundra.

It is said that if a wolf stands at the edge of the cliff, on the night of a full moon, the moonlight will fall onto them, and show them a glimpse of Paradise.

Most of the earth's trees and natural beauty have been torn down. Except for one forest, that was left untouched by man. It's known to be a haven for traveling wolves, but there's no prey or water, so it's never home for long.

Most wolves who dare climb this mountain either freeze, or die from lack of food. It's really a death trap. No water, or food. Though some very few brave wolves have gotten past it. What lies beyond it is unknown to even man.

A few tribes of Indians live in these Canyons, and they honor the wolves. They believe they are their brothers, and will aid any traveling wolves who are in need of help. It's a pretty good place to rest up for a while.
