Kalus jumped at Aura's sudden appearance. He was sure he heard no footsteps.... He listened to her proposition, and took a moment to consider it. He had never let Kongo do anything as dangerous as this, especially without him being there to watch. He didnt want anything to harm Kongo, especially after what happened to him when he was a child. He looked at Kongo, eating the deer, while talking to a firefly. He thought, "She's right, there is something different about him. I wonder what it is....."
Just then, a snarling roar broke the akward silence, as a pack of rival Island Wolves emerged swiftly from the sea. A quick defense team had been assembled, and had gone to negotiate/hold them off. Kalus looked back at Aura, and called Kongo over. "Kongo, you go now with Aura and Fleur. You were right, you must go. This island is no longer safe and hidden. I cannot come, if we hope to keep this Island ours. Paradise is beckoning, heed its call!" And with a final smile, he took off to join the negotiators.
Kongo dashed towards the mint plains, where he would get a raft, and sail to the other Islands. "Come on! We wont have much time left, as these are the wolves who killed my dad's original pack. The least I can do for him, is to obey him, and help you out. He trusts you guys, and so do I. Now let's go!"
He had hoped that that peaceful moment, would not be the last. The seas churned, and the winds roared. A massive storm was approaching.
((OOC: Daryl, you are a good RPer, and so are you kit))

[Thanks. I'm kind of experienced, been part of about....25 different sites? Most of them with Luna XD. And, I assure you, everyone here is a good roleplayer.]
"Forget the raft, we can swim. The currents aren't very strong." As she said this, Aura took Fleur gently in her jaws, and plunged down the beach towards the sea. The journey from the Tundras had been three times the distance from here to the next island, and they had easily made that. With a little help from Kuraku's voice. Fleur giggled excitedly as the water lapped against her paws, and laughed openly at the sensation of the sea rushing up until only her head and neck were clear of the water.

"Are you sure Aura? We seashore wolves can swim pretty well, and it is an easy feat to travel to other Islands, but that massive cloud up ahead worries me. From the Silver Islands where you come from, to our Island, is no easy swim, but nevertheless, it is uncomparable to the storm-ridden seas we have here. But I fear you are right, as we may not have time left to set up the raft. Now let us go, and I will try my best to control the flows of this sea."
Kongo shot out into the open lagoon, wading close to the drop-off line in the coral reef. It was only a few miles away, but the Tower Islands were very well protected with raging waters and rocky shores. The brewing storm, Kongo knew, was only biding its time. It was going to be tough to escape this new obastacle in the Race for Paradise.

Aura dived in after him, racing through the water with surprising speed and strength. "As soon as the storm gets near we'll head for the nearest shelter and try to last it out. And, one thing I have been wondering. The Silver Islands. I presume they are the ice packs we know as the Frozen Tundras?"

Kongo took a quick glance at the storm. There was only enough time to reach the Tower Islands' first Island, the Kralick. He swam closer to Aura, "Yes, the silver islands were once a close ally of ours, but ever since the sea turned wild, we have been on.... Shaky ground, with them. Their Island drifted further away each year, and one day, a raid party was found swimming to our Island.... Its hard to believe you came from those Islands, at least from that time. It seems you knew the old tundra wolves..."
Kongo doged a sharp rock, as the waves thundered against the rocky crags of Kralick. He jumped to shore, and helped Aura and Fleur up. It was time to find a shelter, but he had no experience of finding shelter. Maybe Aura could help.....

"You are mistaken, we are not from the Silver Islands, we merely passed through them."
Ooc: Sorry for short reply, short for time right now

ooc: So sorry! I have been a bit busy lately, and am addicted to DA.
ic: "Hmm... where are you from then? I know of nothing further south than the Silver Islands, or the 'Frozen Tundras' as you call them." Kongo then scouted out the island, and, being a tropical jungle wolf, he had no experience in the barren land.... It was of no use to go out and search, so he just sat under the nearest rock, and waited.

"We came from the woods to the south of the tundras. I expect a pack this side of the tundras has never crossed through the blizzards, so it makes sense that you have never heard of us. Our pack was killed by humans, my mate, and the Alpha male, among the dead. We only survived as I had to stay back from battle to look after Fleur." The fae dropped into silence as she thought of her mate, and all her friends, most of whom had died.
Fleur meanwhile was nestled happily on the scruff of her mother's neck, every so often having to grip for dear life as she was almost thrown off. The spray flung itself over her, and she shivered. She was only a pup, but already her warmer puppy fur was giving way to a pelt of creamy white, and without either fully grown, she was not protected against the cold, and she was already feeling this.

"Aww... I feel so sorry for you! Im sure there are others left, and there is bound to be survivors scattered about. I bet we will run into a few of them, if we ever decide to go to the tundras."
Just then, Kongo noticed something in the air, a heavy presence, heavier than that of the sea air.... He put the feeling aside however, in an attempt to relax until the storm pattered out. He had a feeling that once it came, it would blow itself out on the larger and wider Tower Islands. They were safe as far as Kongo knew, but then again, he had been wrong before.

Fleur attempted to poke her head out into the rain, but was quickly snatched back by her mother. "Well, this storm doesn't look like passing anytime soon. I vote we get some rest, we'll need it once this weather clears."
