' i swear ive been here before but... when?' avia asks herself as she walks through a crowded covered in snow. the rasid scent of oil ,grease and magots fill the air around her. she almost throws up that rabbit she cought a day or so ago. as she trudges through the city a team of dogs pull a sled with an old man riding it. ' stupid dogs where is their pride ' she sneers as she walks pass them. as they trot by a blue eyed silver pelted malamute husky mix wips her head around and stares at her. the dog stops in her track only to be niped in the leg by the dusty brown mut behind her. avia watches them go a starngly fimiliar scent floats to her nose from a time long before any of her earlyest memorys from her old pack in the mountains. but she pushes the thought away and keeps moving hoping to get out of this town and have a meal in her by night fall.

A large, stocky man wandered through this snowbound city. He was young, but his face was worn. He had obviously been through hell the past few days. He shivered as he walked, desperate to find someplace warm. He had been separated from his companion....was she his companion? More of a nuisance...

Vicious bared her sharp fangs, and snarled loudly. Her raven fur was angrily spiked up, and her eyes flamed with fury. "How...dare you...Even CHALLENGE me, you filthy mutt!" she spat at the rottweiler-looking stray in front of her. She stomped one large black paw impatiently. She saw the mutt's eyes glance down from her strange eyes to the juicy and pugent steak between her paws. The mutt wasn't exactly thin, & none the less, he had tried to command her to give up her steak that she just stole from a butcher. Not exactly the highest-quality steak, but it would do. The dog barked back: "Toss over the steak! Now!" he bared his fangs and growled. A deep rumbling sound, maybe a warning to humans, but to Vicious, it only served to irriatate her more. "Come and get it, you worthless fleabag! Scum of the city!" She tipped back her large and regal black head and howled quickly. Her howl was many things in one, anger, hatred, sorrow, and loneliness all in one long and powerful song. She was singing to the world that she was in this forsaken city, and she was planning to brave it by her rules. The rottweiler saw his chance, and he lunged quickly at the steak between Vicious' front paws. In a split second, Vicious smirked evilly, and her mismatchd eyes glittered maliciousy. The next second, in one smooth, swift move movement, she twisted her strong neck and bit deep and powerfully into the mutt's neck with a crunch.

The man perked his head up at the sound of that too familiar howl. With all four feet to the ground, he raced towards it. His stocky body wasn't that mast, but his muscle mass was intimidating. He leapt up to the rooftops and stayed upwind of the dogs he saw below him. The man peered over the ledge of the wall, and watched carefully. It wasn't her. Why dd he even respond that way? He must be sick....

as she slonked through yet anough alley she stomached growled. " why cant i find anything in this damn city" she snarled as she slid from her human discize her tail draging on the ground. all to soon she heard a faint bark most likely from a dog but she keeps moving.

" WAIT PLEASE WAIT " comes a distraught bark
she spins around to see that silver husky malamute mix.
" what do you want dog" she snarls the dog looks taken aback then shakes her head as if to remove the memory.
"i saw you looked hungry when i saw you the other day" says the dog as she turns around a piece of flesh in her jaws.
she is shocked and her tail falls down in shame "umm thank you but i cant do that" she says
" please just take the meat and i wish to speak with you any way" wines the dog
as she says this avias stomche snarls in hunger having not eaten in weeks" um thanks" she says taking the meat greedily in her jaws.
the dog smiles and lays down" come avia i have alot to tell you and how rude of me my name in naomi by the way " avias eyes go wide and she drops her meal her mothers name was Naomi but surely this could not be her. her pack had said that her mother had died just after her birth but they where great liers so you could never be sure. maybe she would listen and see what she found up.
"very well speak"....

Vicous snapped her head up, nostrils flaring. Her dark muzzle was shining with the crimson lifeblood of the dog. She bared her red-tinted fangs and growled threateningly at the man above her. However, she was very surprised and maybe even slightly pleased at the idea of other wolves around her. She had never had a true pack, but she didn't like the fact that her kin had to go parading around as filthy humans. She growled: "What do you want? Can't you see I'm busy?" Her eyes were burning with hatred. For humans. She stubbornly and proudly refused to disguise herself. How long she will last like that, only time will tell.

The man perked his ears as he heard the wolf. "I apologize. I thought you were someone else" He said. The mixed scent of wolf and dog was probably what sent him off. He relaxed his large muscles and laid his body down on the roof. He continued to watch, curious as to what this wolf was planning to do. He wasn't interfering with her murder, but he knew it was only a matter of time before the two leggers showed up to see what the noise was about.

Vicious glared at the male wolf, but a spark of curiosity lit her eye. He hadn't challenged her, or even retalliated. She smirked slightly and picked up the steak in her powerful jaws. "You may think it's stupid...killing over a piece of meat....But...If we do not fight for what is rightfully ours, then nothing will ever be." She grinned.

"Yes. Spoken like a true wolf" The large male agreed. "It is not stupid .... what you fight for....You and I fight for the same thing really. Survival" He said. His human disguise melted away, revealing his large, gray form. He didn't have very long legs, but they were muscular beyond belief. Just his size alone was enough to tell you he could kill a wolf with one hit. But he didn't have a hint of aggression in him.

Avia stalked forward the different thoughts spinning in her mind as it all slowly sank in. her mother was not dead but alive and well. and she was not pure wolf like the thought not like ceela her best friend from the other pack( which i will be making a character for in about a day or so) stone peak. she had listened to her mothers tale and now had a choice in front of her. stay with her mother or continue on with her journy. slowly she came to the conculsion that she simply could not stay here, in fact she could not even so much as handle the taste of the meat here non the less stand the smell of the racid roads that line the ground. with her tail low and head hanging in hunger and egsostion she made her way through the town in hope of finding more wolves when she scented a large male standing not to far off
