Amata shivered in the cage as the eerie room seemed to moan in agony. It was dark, it was damp, and she was alone. She loud make out laughter above her. Those men who stole her must be celebrateing upstairs.....

Ai jumped off of the car, and ran over to where the new road was. Just like Daryl had said, there was a pair of tire tracks, and they looked almost fresh. Without a second thought, Ai bolted off in the direction the tracks were going, not caring if she was leaving the others behind. She had to find Amata before the humans did something Ai would make them regret.

"Ai!" Sorrou cried and tore after her. Catching up, she panted, "You have to wait... until they don't expect you to find them anymore! If you go now, they'll just catch you!" she stopped running. Her ribs hurt too much to continue chasing Ai. She limped back to Daryl, coughing.

"Sorrou, wait here and stay safe. I'll go after Ai, make sure she's ok." Without waiting he too tore down the new road, praying that Ai wouldn't get herself into trouble too. They should have waited for the humans to let their guard down, but then again, if they waited they might sell Amata before they could rescue her.

Pacing back and forth behind the jeep, Sorrou waited. Please let them be okay, she thought. Never had she had such a thought before, she usually didn't care about others around her. Sorrou had grown kind of attached to them... this just made her worry more. She lay down right in front of the key and stared at it. What was it for?

Ai didn't even listen to Sorrou's words. She just kept running, not caring that Daryl was trying to catch up to her. Her legs wouldn't let her slow down. She had to find Amata for some unknown reason. Maybe she had grown attached to the pup? Maybe she was going crazy? Or maybe or instincts were forcing her to against her own will? She had no clue... The only things she did know was that she was going to tear out the throat of every humans that was involved with Amata's kidnapping.

Ai seemed to be driving forward like a thing possessed, but Daryl eventually caught up. He could guess why Ai was so keen to get there, it didn't take a genius to see that she was attached to that pup. Daryl also felt some responsibility for her. It was sort of his fault. He had shot the human who was trying to kill Amata, and that had brought more humans, putting all four of them in danger. He sighed, shook his head, and slowed slightly, matching Ai's stride.

Amata wasn't one to be counted out. While the humans were partying away, she had been trying to break out of her metal prison. She panted heavily before launching herself yet again at the cold bars. She had discovered the weak link, and ever so slowly it was bending.

Sorrou was getting impatient. She looked down the road, but Daryl and Ai were long gone. "Hurry up!" she snapped to no one in particular. Her bruised ribs were getting on her nerves and now she was grumpy. She picked up the key again in her mouth, then slowly plodded down the trail that Daryl and Ai had ran down.

ooc:I'm okay with that idea.
bic: Ai kept running, taking notice that Daryl was now running with her. Her ears perked up when she picked up the scent of humans, and the sound of laughter. With a slight growl, she skidded to a stop, and rammed into a door, causing it too fall off it's hinges. The door was pretty trashy. Made of ancient wood, and kept to the wall with only a few nails. Pretty easy to break. The men looked at her with surprise, all of them falling silent. Ai scented the air, and picked up Amata's scent coming from somewhere in the house. But where? She couldn't see her. Only smell her. One of the men cocked his gun behind his back, ready to shoot Ai or Daryl if they became trouble.

Daryl growled as he padded in, moving alongside Ai, then standing in fornt of her slightly protectively. It was his fault that all this had happened. He wasn't about to let her get hurt because of him. The rifle to his left went off, narrowly missing him. It was a warning shot, but a warning might have been more useful for the humans than for Daryl. He plunged forward, clamping his jaws down on one man's ankle and ripping viciously at it until the human fell to the ground in pain. Daryl wheeled around, blood staining the silky black fur of his maw. Two men backed off, but one, pluckier than the others, darted forward, a knife in one hand. The cold steel blade tore into Daryl's shoulder, cutting deep, and the brute gave a loud howl of pain, before throwing the man down, sending the knife spinning away, then jumping on his throat.

Sorrou sighed. She'd been walking for almost an hour and she was nowhere near the others; she could tell from their far-away scent. If only there was a way to move faster without hurting her ribs... Her ears pricked as she heard the unmistakable sound of a truck starting. A crazy idea was forming in her head. "Don't be stupid... what if it goes the wrong way?" Just jump off... "I'll hurt myself!" Just do it... A bit recklessly, Sorrou hopped on the nearby vehicle just as it started to move.

Amata was exhausted. Her ear twitched at the sound of noise upstairs, but she had been locked in the hidden cellar for almost an entire day now. Her eyelids hung lazily to her eyes, and her muscles ached in pain. A growl came not from her mouth, but from her stomach.

Luckily, the truck was steered towards the building where the others were. Where else would it have been going? That place seemed like their headquarters or something, and, unbeknown to Sorrou, the drivers were responding to a call from a man in that very building. Something about wolf invaders... The wind on the top of the truck was strong and very cold, but Sorrou held on by digging her claws into the metal roof. Soon, they reached their destination, and when they stopped Sorrou jumped down from the truck, rattling her bruised ribs. She tried to ignore the pain as she killed the men that came out of the truck.
