Ai walked up from behind Emma and looked at the vast expance of land ahead of them. "It's not all that bad." she said with a calm face. "I've traveled here before, but I've never gotten to the other side. There are a few towns scattered here and there, but they're small and poor. But they had food." she added, before walked ahead with an sense of confidence. With each paw step, they were getting closer to Paradise.

Amata was walking under Ai, useing the bigger wolf for shade. "I'm thirsty" She whined as her hot paws drudged on through the sand. Maybe finding paradise was a foolish idea....

"Just hang on for a little while longer." Ai encouraged, her blue and green eyes still fixed on the terrain ahead. "There's bound to be an old city around here. Or maybe even one that's still housing huans." she said down to Amata, before licking her on the top of her head. She too felt that she was about to die from thirst, but she had done this before, so she knew she wouldn't. A city always seemed to pop up when she had needed it most.

ooc: Bloodwolf PLEASE use the period button. It is your friend! really! Take your time and reread your posts before you hit reply! bic: Amata's body was giving out. An adult wolf could take this heat for much longer, but her pup body was not used to such harsh conditions. She fainted in the sand. And unfortunately for Emma, what she saw was but a mirage.

Ai's eyes grew wide when Amata collasped into the sand. She quickly began to dig a hole in the sand, and then pulled the pup into it. She had learned that the deeper you dug, the colder the sand was. She then laid down by the edge of the small ditch, blocking out the hot winds. She was the only one with dark fur, but she was still able to handle the head. Maybe because she was used to things like that.

Alayna sighed as she follewed the group from a good long distance. Her snow white fur wasn't very god for concealing herself. But At the moment, there was no wind to carry her scent to them. Alayna didn't mind this at all.
But now the pup had passed out and the other one was halluninatng. At this rate they'd be dead, and no one could lead her out of here.... Time for some intervention!
Alayna increased her pace to a jog, no wanting to tire herself out too fast. She caught up to the group and wordlessly scooped up the pup in her jaws. Gently, of course. She didn't want to hurt the thing badly.
Alayna continued aat her brisk pace, still silent.

"who knew..." she muttered. The sun was still scorching on all the wolves and warmth would kill her before it became her friend. Still she looked ahead "is Amata OK?" she asked walking back the sand burned her feet with each step she took.
Well they were lucky at least a sandstorm had not hit.

Amata was motionless as she was taken. She did not struggle, nor did she make a sound...she just hung there limply.

Ai quickly followed the white wolf who suddenly took Amata. She didn't know if she was helping in any way or not, so she was a bit suspicious.

Bayne struggled to find his footing on the smooth sand. Nevertheless, he was glad? Of course, why would he be glad to be in the middle of a desert? It was dry, and had no water. Exactly. Bayne had had enough of the ocean and the seaspray on his face. He wanted solid land and away from that island, since none had come to visit him.
Now here he was trotting quite happily through the sand flicked up from his paws. It wasn't long before Bayne smelt wolves. Their scent was strong, he noticed, as the grey Timber Wolf male trotted every quickly forward. The scent of many wolves grew stronger until they were muddled and he found himself upon an entire group.
