She watched the wolf smirk, and rolled her eyes at this intruder. " Yes, I spoke of Paradise." She said, ending there. She watched the puzzled look take over the wolf's face and laughed slightly to herself. " You don't know what Paradise is, you have heard chatter about it, and you want to know what it is, yes?" Greywolf responed to the look the wolf had givin her. " Paradise, is said to be well.. Paradise. An old legend says, that when the world is coming to an end, only us wolves will be able to find it. It is also said, that the lunar flower will lead us there. And well, about what it looks like, know one knows... Me myself, I think I believe in it, but my old foster pack chased me out when i started wondering about it..." Greywolf said, trailing off at the end..

Huh, Aruki replied shortly after listening to the she-wolf talk about Paradise, though it was clearly not a question. After a long pause, knowing she should give the other wolf a little bit of gratitude, she finally mumbled, Well, thanks for giving me a few details. There was another pause as she pondered what her ears had just heard. The concept of it all seemed very unreal to Aruki, although she wanted to believe it was true. Voices in the back of her head told her to forget about Paradise - no, it wasn't real. How could such a grand paradise exist? It couldn't. You're foolish to believe. Foolish, I tell you. - and walk away, but her heart was becoming curious and telling her to believe. A headache was arising because of all the mixed emotions and thoughts being brewed inside her head. She gave a quick shake and returned her focus to Greywolf. Are you trying to find this place - errr, Paradise?

Greywolf watched the wolf think for a while, then responed to her question. " Gradually, I think, but it isn't my biggest worry right now. I think once I faind a pack, then mabey, but I will probably set out for it later on." Greywolf finished, then pondered the idea for a while, Waiting for the wolf to respond. She had got along with this wolf better, but still, she didn't like the way she was spying on me.. I wonder if she has a pack...?

Only the weak need packs, Aruki remarked sharply. Though, she didn't believe the statement she had just made was completely true, she didn't let on to her doubts. But I suppose to each to his own, eh? she finally said. If you search for Paradise with a pack, you're just going to have that many more wolves dragging you down along the way.

"I understand why you say that, but I think it would be much easier to have someone with you, to experience paradise with you. Because what good is Paradise if you can't share it with someone?" Greywolf said. She would hate that, incredibly. She had always loved to have company, whether it was from a pup, or a full grown wolf, it didn't matter to her, as long as they weren't incredibly anoyying..

Aruki stood listening, then finally spoke up and said rather slowly, I suppose that I can partially agree with what you said. Admitting that was difficult for the tiny wolf. She had actually deep down preferred company, but she was always caught up in the way she thought she should act around others - cold, ruthless, strong. This misconception was her one major downfall with accounted for a lot of depression in her life. When she was alone and free from the rest of the world, she was happy as a lark because she felt alive - like she could be who she wanted to be -, but as soon as anyone was in plain sight her mood would shift quickly and she would become a stone on the inside.

Greywolf smiled slightly as she parcially agreed. She wasn't much bigger than this wolf, just a few centimetres. She was a small wolf herself, but she didn't focus on what other wolves thought of her. She could be caring and loving, along with mena and aggresive when needed. "So, I'm guess ing you don't have a pack then?" Greywolf asked the question that had popped up in her mind a few mins. before.

Aruki regained her focus and replied, Correct. I have no pack, and quite frankly I prefer to keep it that way. She had lived and survived on her own since the death of her mother not long ago. That one tragedy has made her into the wolf she is at this point.

"I see.." Greywolf said slowly. She didn't know what else to say to this wolf.. She wanted to find pack members, but aubviously, she didn't want to be in one...

The tiny wolf's stomach grumbled, and she rolled her eyes at the grumpy noise erupting from her belly. Ah, well, I do believe I'm off to find Paradise - if it even exists, that is. she said as she began moving forward with graceful steps. Her stomache growled again. Or maybe I'll find some food first, she mumbled under her breath. I'm Aruki, by the way, her voice rang out as she haulted, and turn her head back, And you're free to come along for a bit, I suppose, - her voice was now becoming almost inaudible and she began talking quickly - since you know more about this place than I do.

Greywolf smirked at what she said before responding. " Before we move on, here, he wolf that was here before you showed this to me. " Greywolf ripped out some of the remaining roots out of the earth. "There not very appealing, nor are the meat, but they'll give you strength, and their food." Greywolf said, dropping the roots at Aruki's feet. "And, I'm greywolf.." Greywolf said, she never really wondered why her name was greywolf, when clearly, she was not gray, but a dark black..

Err, thank you, Aruki said as she turned back and put her nose to the roots, sniffing them. She gently nudged them before scoffing them down in just a few bites. Not very appetizing at all, but the she-wolf would be forced to make due with the rather small meal for now. With a graceful leap, she was off running through the woods. Her destination was quite unknown at this point. Sure, she knew she wanted to find Paradise - if it was even possible to be found - but she had no clue how to get there. Her over-sized paws guided her across the earth, and it almost appeared as if she was floating and not even touching the ground.

Greywolf followed like she had been invited to. She loped through the forest, easily dodging the tree's crossing her path. She past aruki, and follwed the scent of the flower. She felt revived of all that is good, when she inhaled the beautiful scent.

As the other wolf passed Aruki, she shot a menacing glare that could have burned right through Greywolf. Show off, she thought to herself. It didn't seem possible for Aruki not to have something bad to say, or think, about others. The scent of the lunar flowers finally hit her nose. The sensation of the aroma was odd and unfamiliar to her, but she felt a strange connection to it. Running through the forest was becoming a blur to Aruki as her mind being wondering off.

A small cliif laid above the forest. It was there that Yuutai was now laying. Below her she caught the faintest glimpses of fur rushing under the tree tops. So.... they are traveling together.... for now" She said, laying her head on her paws. She needed no such pack.... in fact, her species was one of solitary life anyway. Whoever heard of a thylacine pack? Though.... they may not have heard of one simply because there was not enough thylacines left to form such a thing.... Yuutai looked away from the travelers, disheartened.
