Greywolf stumbled through the tree's. There has to be water somewhere, or at least a rabbit... Her vision started to go fuzzy, and her legs felt weak. I think it would be fine to rest, I can find food and water after... She let her aching bodie fall to the ground limply. Not eating or drinking in days really took a tole on her, plus running a far distannce didn't help eather. As she lied on the ground, heaving, she thought of her mother, and how she was killed by man, the pack that brought her in, then recently chased her out.... Finally, she slowly drifted into un- cauntiousness..Dreaming of good times, when her mother was around..Then came the nightmares.. Attachments:

Another wolf was wandering the forest. He slender frame and sturdy paws weaved through the trees searching for her next adventure. A strange scent had caught her nose....the scent of another wolf. "Oh god, now what?" she said with a role of her eyes. Yes she wanted adventure...just not with others.
The Tasmanian wolf walked over to the scent only to find a collapsed grey laying in the forest.
"Hey... you alive?" She asked as she walked over to the body and nudged it with her paw.

greywolf awoke to another wolf nudging her. Her body ached and her throaght was dry, but she managed t look up weakly.
"Yes, I'm alive.." She spoke, looking up at the other wolf, then she went on.
" Barely though.. So why are you all the way out here?" Some strength had returned to her now, and she pulled herself up so she was sitting face-to-face with the other wolf. Her amber eyes watched her waiting for a responce, her black fur covered in dew from the moisture in the air...

"Me? I'm a wolf afterall. I go where I please" Yuutai looked at this stray curiously. "If you want to die, then why do so?" She said rather bluntly. "If you want to live, learn how to survive." She said shaking her head. "you look thirsty and hungry, yet this forest is one of the few places with actual game, and your pelt itself has water clinging to it" She pointed out.

"Thank you for the bluntnes," She said crossly.
"And I'm new here, I was drivin out of my foster pack just a few days ago, how am I supposted to know there is game here? Aside from scent all I have is eyesight, and now I don't see or smell any thing appealing." She said, standing now, and facing the wolf, her ears back and her eyes narrowed. She didn't know who this wolf was, but she didn't like her much.. Greywolf stared at her waiting for an answer.

"Appealing or no, you eat what you can find." yuutai said. She walked over to a group of scraggly looking leaves in the shapes of arrow heads. They looked rather pathetic, but a desperate wolf is never picky. "You didn't eve notice the tannia root here?" she asked, her voice tinted with a hint of mockery. She used her powerful five clawed paws to dig up the plant, revealing strange potato like roots. It was true, the roots were not meat, and far from appealing, but it WAS food, and a lone wolf had to learn to scavenge.

Greywolf stared at the plant, frowned slightly then answered.
"I suppoes I should say thanks," She said un-willingly. But she didn't approach the root, instead she stood, waiting to see if the other wolf would eat it instead. The root didn't smell of much really, quite bland. But greywolf still inhaled it, trying to get it into her memory for next time. She snuffed around a bit, turning from the wolf and found another patch of the root. She did as she had seen the other wolf do and dug it out, then bit down on it eagerly, he jaws and razor-like teeth mangling it easily. She swallowed and ate the rest with no problem.
" So, you plan on staying here long, or are you heading out?" Greywolf asked, her crankyness has subsided since she had eatin. She inhaled deeply, strength returning to her body, what was that? She smelt something incredibly sweet, an alurring smell.. Some type of flower mabey?? She lifted her head slightly, trying to get more of this tasteful scent, still waiting for her to answer..

Yuutai watched the stranger immediately put to use what she had just been taught. She smothered her smile and ate a single root for herself. She sat down and listened to the stranger. "I may stay awhile. At least until the activity outside these branches calm down" yuutai said, now turning her head to stare out through the decaying wood. she spoke of course of the two leggers. Lately they had been rather aggressive and bloodthirsty. Yuutai herself had been in a town nearby, getting along rather well until she was chased out. Lucky for her she was a swift footed thief.... She escaped the city with nothing but a thin but on her shoulder, already starting to heal.

"Yeah, that's a good choice.." Greywolf spoke, still swallowing the rest of the root.
"Well, I better get going, I want to find a nice place to sleep tonight, but, mabey I will see you sometime, oh and thanks for the tips I appreciate it." Greywolf then trotted off, she didn't know where she was going, but with a full belly and her strength back, she felt better than she had in days. She looked over her shoulder and smiled at the other wolf breifly, then she took of into the depth of the tree's...

(ooc: Hope you don't mind my dropping in. n_n;)
Hidden deep within a thicket of bushes, Aruki silently began to listen in on the wolves' conversation. Her ears perked as she strained to hear them through the enormous bush. However, a tiny drop of water fell from a leaf and landed on her midnight black nose. The cold droplet took her by surprise, and she jerked back. The bushes rattled, and Aruki angrily sighed because she knew that she would have been heard.

As greywolf loped away, she heard some bushes rattle and turned back. Mabey it will be some meat, like deer or elk...mhhhhh she would love that. But, as she approached the bush, she didn't smell prey, instad she smelt wolf. Her hair was on end and her ears where back, as she looked through to see the angry wolf.
"Hello?" She said confused, had she been listening???

Aruki leapt out of the thicket, gracefully landing in front of Greywolf. Piercing amber eyes gazed at the other wolf, aslmost as if Aruki was staring straight through to the depths of her soul. After a moment of staring menacingly, Aruki dropped her focus to the ground and muttered, Err, hey. Please excuse my intrusion. Despite the grumbling tone in her voice, it still rang throughout the forest very angelic and song-like.

Yuutai rolled her eyes at Greywolf and didn't seem to react very strongly to the shaking bush, except a single ear twitch in Aruki's direction. She shook out her thin, tan coat and turned to walk away, strips fading and reappearing on her rear due to a trick of the light against her fur. She had no intrest in mentoring ANOTHER pup lost in the real world, and with a new wolf, she just didn't want to get involved in any type of affair.

Greywolf felt slightly uncomfortable by the look this newcomer gave her, so she gave the look right back as the other wolf spoke, exept more of a glare. She listened to her, blinking only once then spoke calmly.
" Why where you listening to us?" She asked, annoyyed, but it only showed a little. She held her glare on the wolf, Who was she, and why was she watching us?? Lonely mabey... hmm..? She held back her instincts to let out a menacing growl, and waited for this stranger to tell her what was going on. As she waited, Yuutai walked away, bored, but greywolf could see by her ear pointed this way, she was slightly interested...

Aruki looked back up just in time to see Greywolf glaring at her. She scoffed at the sight - that pitiful glare, she thought to herself - and a smirk appeared on her maw, flashing large, crimson stained teeth. Honestly, I was wondering if there was anything interesting to hear, she replied, monotoned. I didn't get to hear much. Though, I do remember something about - what did you call it? Paradise? The term was new to her, and she had no understanding of what it was or what it meant. She realized that if she wanted to learn more about this place she would need to lay down her attitude, but that would not be easily done. No, not for a wolf abounding with pride like Aruki.
